Elan Mendel is Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel for Regulatory Affairs at Mastercard. In his current role, Elan manages a global team of regulatory attorneys and compliance professionals that support Mastercard’s multi-rail payments strategy, including open banking and account-to-account payments, as well as its enterprise-wide M&A activities. Before joining Mastercard, he served as US General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Moneycorp, a global fintech providing consumer and B2B cross-border payments and FX risk management solutions.
